DirectShow Encoding Filters Pack
Overview
The VisioForge DirectShow Encoding Filters Pack comprises a comprehensive suite of DirectShow filters employed within VisioForge SDKs for encoding audio and video in multiple formats.
This collection allows developers to integrate encoding capabilities for formats such as MP4 (with H264, HEVC, and AAC codecs), MPEG-TS, MKV, and various others into DirectShow applications.
Also, VP8/VP9 codecs are supported for video encoding (WebM output), and Vorbis, MP3, FLAC, and Opus for audio encoding.
Additionally, H264 and HEVC encoders within the pack are optimized to leverage GPU acceleration on Intel, AMD/ATI, and Nvidia hardware, enhancing performance.
The filter pack contains independent H264/AAC encoders that use CPU and a special muxer with video and audio encoders inside that use CPU or GPU for encoding.
